Unconscious mind the ego (wants everything now, has aggressive, sexual drive), superego (controls the ego, understands societal norms and helps us know what to do) Habits people have unconscious auto pilot after doing a task after a long time, it becomes automatized all the behaviours that you repeat over and over (repetition) become natural to person and become a habit. Can only consciously control a few things is o(cid:374) autopilot (cid:271)ut is(cid:374)"t doi(cid:374)g a(cid:374)y a(cid:272)tual thing, just following habitual behaviours. Often habits come from indoctrination, and not form rational (conscious) thoughts many habits have come from observational learning eg. someone you thought cool smoked, and then you end up smoking. Feeli(cid:374)g that it"s like to (cid:271)e us altered states: hypnosis, sleep. As scientific theories freud"s theories are u(cid:374)s(cid:272)ie(cid:374)tifi(cid:272), (cid:272)a(cid:374)(cid:374)ot (cid:271)e pro(cid:448)ed (cid:449)ro(cid:374)g. The reason for sleeping is undefined people sleep for 8h a day, become useless and become unconscious of the world.
