Dendrites they have these receptor sites that receive chemical signals. Drugs are so reverent b/c they introduce one of the chemicals in the brain which messes with the neurons and the chemicals that are being transferred. The brain the cortical tissue is what make us di erent. The cortex is wrinkly since it needs to squish more area of cortex into a skull this is where all the high level decisions are made. The midbrain this is devoted to keeps us alive monitoring blood pressure, pain, etc these lobes seem to all have di erent things that they are devoted to.
