Many ppl has the view that restrain makes psychiatric ppl feel safe. Reasons why she"s able to be here today: We have to stop criminalizing schzio, many are there b/c they never received adequate tx. Ppl w/ psychotic disorders are the most stigmatized in ppl w/ disorder. Schizo have the label attached to them: that they"re crazy, on the streets, dirty. Danger of chemical restrain and giving them injections. But this is not true: had great treatment, wonderful fam and frd, supportive workplace.
