Idea that modern forensic science makes convictions easy through means such as dna samples. Idea that there is a problem of police corruption, in fictional media good cop vs bad cop. It makes people panic about crime, and effects politics and policy. Too many debates about crime are the result of media sensationalization. Don"t make assumption that images are all pushing in one direction. We should distrust our emotions and appraise the facts to come to sound decisions: the enlightenment, the application of scientific process that this can be applied to human affairs.
