(head was never carved placed in the corner where there is very little space) Sandal binder, temple of athena nike parapet, 410 bce. (cid:1) Taking off sandals in order to enter a sacred space. Treatment of the drapery and body is diff. Showing off her sensual / body curves. Drapery is creating a pattern that distracts + insensate what we see.
