Although the chicago fire was a disaster for the city, it was also a way for people to experiment with architecture. Similarly, with wwi a new period of experimentation is unleashed. 1929 the stock market crashed and lead to the great depression. After the stock market crashed, we can still look and talk about the architecture in 1920s. This week: two architects of the 20th century. Mies van der rohe and le corbusier. Mies van der rohe: not his real name and same with le corbusier, both of these figures believe to be cultural figures. Expressionism: expressionist painting visualist art in which this movement was particularly developed. Crowded but not interacting there is an enmity to the city: whole painting shows an impression of modern reality.
