Had a lot to do with climate changes. 10,000 years ago there was an ice age period, which then warmed up and the temperature has stayed consistent since then. Starts to see evidence of plant gathering 11,500 years ago, this is when the first stage of domestication started. Overall they found over 180 plant and animal remains at this site from the. Late neolithic stage there are 5 main species, cultivated legumes and types of grains, big change from the epipaeolithic stage. You usually see a mixture of a type of cereal and pulses, no matter what part of the world that you"re in. Animal domestication doesn"t come until years and years after plant domestication has been mastered. Learnt how to trap gazelles in order to kill them, used a method called desert kite". After focusing on cultivation for around 1000 years, then started the process of animal domestication, started with small animals such as sheep and goats.
