By middle of 1930s, with economy back, tourism is too. 1934, american national parks see numbers going up. Over 4mio vacationers visit western national parks that year. Same year, visitations niagara falls up to 2. 5 mio. The truly rich are going to be ok anyway. It did take some money to be able to maintain the lifestyle. Car was the cheap way to get around.
