wealthy Americans. Then, he has to provide amusement, so he builds a zoo, shooting
range, brings in black singers and musicians for evening entertainment
By 1990 about a thousand golf and country clubs.
Tufts dies in 1902, leaves the company and 100k to his son Leonard.
It is still costing money to make it run, Leonard decides to capitalize on golf, for him
to safe Pinehurst.
