Hitler becomes chancellor on the 30th on january 1933. Torchlight parade through central berlin, 60,000+ crowds. Orchestrated by joseph goebbels (soon to be named minister of public enlightenment and propaganda) Von hindenburg dies 2nd august 1934, due to this happening hitler becomes the reich. No divisions, only germans unifying exciting intoxicating moment, but germans were united (if you were the right kind of germans) There were also these torchlit parades all over germany. 27th february 1933, germany in the midst of election fever (march 5th) Dutch anarchist marinus vander lubbe executed for treason in 1934, recently pardoned. Hitler could not have asked for something better, that moment when the communists were going to rise up.
