Expectation for violence as the norm in dating relationship. 1/4 harassed or called names on the phone/texting. 1/5 girls have posted (semi)nude photos of self on social media: why? attention, everyone"s doing it , punished for getting help (law hasn"t caught up) Vomiting for weight loss (body dysmorphia; losing weight to not look as feminine) 3. 5 more likely to become pregnant (2x more likely to be pregnant again in 24 mo) Provide a safe stepping-stone on the path to adult feelings and roles. Devotion to pop-culture gures as early as 8 or 9 (girls earlier)
