Ceci"s research - repeated quesioning (inger in the mousetrap studies) 7 teachers at preschool in la accused of kidnapping children and lying them to isolated farm, where they saw animals tortured and were forced to engage in group sex. Posiive reinforcement to interviewees - interviewers oten praised children profusely (so smart!) for accusing their teachers of sexual or violent wrongdoing. Invited speculaion about what might have happened (let"s pretend ) In most interviews, children were also given puppets and encouraged to pretend what might have occurred. 1988, 26 yr old daycare worker from new jersey, convicted and sentenced to 47 years in prison for sexually abusing 20 preschool children. Allegaions - over 7 months, allegedly raped w/ spoons, forks, lego blocks, compelled them to swallow her urin and feces.
