Isocitrate Dehydrogenase Isocitrate  irreversible; a-Ketoglutarate + CO2 point of regulation; NADH generated 4. a-Ketoglutarate a-Ketoglutarate  irreversible; Dehydrogenase Succinyl-CoA + CO2 point of regulation; (very sim. to PDH) NADH generated 5. Succinyl CoA Succinyl CoA  energy from breaking Synthetase thioester bond to CoA Succinate trapped in formation of ATP 6. Succinate Succinate  Fumarate FADH pr2duced and sent Dehydrogenase to elec. trans. chain (CoQ) (part of complex II) Malonate inhibits rxn 7. Fumarase Fumarate  L-Malate stereospecific hydration across a DB 8. Malate Dehydrogenase Malate  Oxaloacetate NADH generated;
