Pro: keeping marijuana illegal is not working, just like the alcohol prohibiion- it only creates condiions for and encourages organized crime. Pro: alcohol and marijuana are both popular recreaional drugs, so if one is legal, the other should be too. Con: marijuana is a gateway drug to more dangerous drugs. Con: marijuana is addicive and rots people"s brains. Con: nick is an example of the negaive efects of marijuana. He uses marijuana and dropped out of high school. Con: since marijuana is easily available, many people in messed up situaions will use it and make their situaion worse. Keeping marijuana illegal is not like keeping alcohol illegal because they are diferent drugs. Marijuana is actually safer than alcohol because it doesn"t cause aggressive behaviour. Some drugs are more dangerous than others, but drug abuse should be seen as a health problem, not a crime. Family doctor said that it is obvious nick is sufering from a marijuana addicion.
