The study of normal child development from conception to puberty, including physical, cognitive, and social development within the child"s family, school, and cultural contexts. Specific topics include temperament, language development, intelli- gence testing, personality development, and parenting styles. Your grade in this course will come from your scores on assignments done in class, one out of class homework assignment, a midterm exam, and a final exam.
