Submarine/astronaut extroversion/introversion study: for those whose personalities corresponded to the job they wanted, participants were reluctant to rate them bc they attributed the person"s behav- iour to the situation. When someone acted in an unexpected way, participants were more willing to make a dispositional at- tribution bc they saw the person"s behaviour as reflecting his personality.
