If you don"t have access to the total population it is non-probability sampling because you don"t know the odds of someone being selected. Option 1: power analysis: sample size, e ect size, signi cance level = p(type 1 error) = probability in nding an e ect that is not there. Thursday, january 24, 2019: power = 1-p(type ii error) = probability of nding an e ect that is there. 3 out of 4 will allow you to calculate the missing value.
