Somatic ns: at nmj, uses ach to stimulate contraction. Autonomic ns (two neurons: pre-ganglionic neurons use ach, post-ganglionic. ** ganglion = cell body in pns where we are synapsing. In adrenal medulla send one neuron only send preganglionic and postganglionic. Ach to adrenal medulla - when gets there stimulates secretion epinephrine or norepinephrine to blood.
