Blue=recombination freq in men on pseu region, red in women frequency isn"t the same in diff sexes and from one sequence to another. F pseu is all the x chromo lots of opportunity for recomb, in m got to recombine within the small area. Male drosophila (others) don"t recombine during meiosis (achiasmic: another mechanism to ensure that homologous chromosome get partition in m1 (not pairing in usual way but found diff way to segregated)
