Identify the difference between prudent parasite hypothesis and trade of hypothesis, in terms of the evolution of virulence: virulence= how quickly a parasite will spread; higher virulence means quicker spreading and vice versa. prudent parasite hypothesis parasite does little/no harm to host to be most successful = food secured. trade off hypothesis parasite balance the cost and benefits of virulence; cost is killing the host, but benefits are virus has enough resource to reproduce and infect new hosts.
