If you are not sure which exam room is yours, please ask t. barron. We learned: if the problem is asking at what rate or how fast f (t) is changing at time t0 then we are supposed to nd f (t0). Intuitively, we understand what the words maximum and minimum mean. In calculus/mathematics we also distinguish between local minimum and absolute minimum (or we say global minimum), local maximum and absolute maximum (=global maximum).
