They demonstrate important links between their street culture and their health. Methodology i. e. includes the role of immediate and broader socio-economic and psychological factors. Part of a larger mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) project that followed 106 male youth from the completion of high school into post-secondary. They narrowed their focus for subsequent analysis to the issue of leisure time: hanging out is when they were most likely to smoke, drink and experiment with drugs.
