Cultural competency - understand how each culture defines health, e. g. understanding if you need a same gender hcp. Limbic system: fight or flight - gets changed. Experiencing trauma over and over causes hyperarousal of limbic system - ptsd symptom. Makes it easy to trigger someone with simple things.
