The point at which you sit around. Point at which all the body mass seems to be concentrated. The point about which the mass of a body is evenly distributed. The point around which the sum of all the torques of the segmental weights is equal to zero. Imaginary point about which the body weight is equally distributed. The point of application of gravity force on a mass example: Each object has its own centre of mass and when we combine them we have an overall centre of mass. How they found the centre of gravity. Took cadaver, chop it up, and find balance points which would identify where centre of gravity was. Tried to figure out how objects spin ad rotate. Immersion: submerge into water to find how much volume the object took up centre: Brought together of overall centre of gravity. Have to use language a lot here. Left is block, right side is scale.
