Creates something where there is nothing before. Disreputable jobs (good life destroying) : pimps, gamblers, thieves, commerce, banking (usurers: money lenders for interest - interest does not use money for its purpose), merchants, service for hire (being hired employee -servants) Skimming off others, benefitting from someone else"s work. Ex: likes doctor who is concerned with health rather than one who. Prefers robbers to thieves: robbers confront you (courageous), thieves are sneaky goes into occupation for the money when they steal. Money can overwhelm us and displace things that are important to good life: Art of economics is about producing enough so you can live the good life. Changes our relationship with goods and production limitless and can be an obsession. Making shoes to make excellent shoes vs making them to make money.
