No lab test can determine percentages of race, etc. Everyone is a mixture of races, just more to one extent or another therefore inaccurate to label someone as one speci c race. Race was invented by white majority groups. People assigned race for administrative purposes (applying for a passport, survey groups, etc. ) Western civilization has ethnocentric tendencies when assigning races. Ex: white people are predominantly racist, but that depends on where you live in the world. Cultural cues: ways of dress, accents, religious adornments. Discrimination is unlawful when there are negative repercussions that come along with it. Ex: not hiring someone based on discrimination, no consideration for promotion, less pay, etc.
