Experimental psychology : focuses on basic processes like basic learning, sensation and perception, motivation. Most of the experiments are done with animals. Cognitive psychology : studies higher mental processes (memory, judgement and decision making, problem solving, mental imagery, attention, creativity) Social psychology : studying how people think about, feel about, and behaviours towards other people.
