Behaviour : actions and responses we can directly observe (including observable responses such as heart rate, etc) Mind : internal states, processes (thoughts & feelings) The mind cannot be observed directly must infer from the behaviour. A diverse field of study with many subfields. Biopsychology : focuses on the biological basis of behaviour. How brain processes, enes, and hormones influence our actions, thoughts and feelings. Evolutionary psychology : focuses on how evolution shaped our midns and behaviours (mate choice, problem solving. Developmental psychology : examines human physical, psychological, and social. Experimental psychology : focuses on basic processes like basic learning, sensation and perception, motivation. Most of the experiments are done with animals. Cognitive psychology : studies higher mental processes (memory, judgement and decision making, problem solving, mental imagery, attention, creativity) Social psychology : studying how people think about, feel about, and behaviours towards other people.
