Ego manager (creates fantasy to control id) At irst, the ego only has to worry about the external reality: over ime, superego is making demands as well superego kicks in. Superego is beginning to control ego by giving rewards for compliance pride and punishment for non-compliance guilt. Id and superego are infanile formed when child was young. If ego obeys superego id may not be saisied. Everything above water is the conscious mind and the underwater is the unconscious mind. You can chop it up to see where they each reside. You have a huge porion underneath the water and the enire id is underwater and unconscious moivaion not consciously aware of id moives. Superego has more unconscious but also has conscious moives. Unconscious conlict o o o o o o. Interacion of id, ego, and superego results in constant struggle.
