Women experienced lower rates of frigidity (low sex drive) Women engaged in more premarital and extramarital sex than many ppl believed and experienced surprisingly strong responses to erotic stimuli. Sociosexuality: degree to which individuals feel comfortable engaging in sex without love, closeness, or commitment. Avg length of erect penis is just under 6 inches w/ circumference of 5 inches. All apes have penis bone: help maintain erection besides homo sapiens: human penis relies on maintaining erection after becoming engorged w/ blood by using muscles in shaft of penis to compress veins. Trapping blood so it remains hard: can"t have another orgasm for at least an hour or two. Male sexuality is simple and direct, women is complex and variable.
