Document Summary

Photoautotrophs: primary producers of the earth(produce organic molecules from inorganic molecules) Use energy to assemble complex organic molecules from inorganic raw materials: the organic molecules are then used as energy sources by the organisms itself, and by other organisms (i. e. : heterotrophs) Pigment molecule chlorophyll absorbs energy from light. Light reactions because driven by light and oxygen is produced as a by produce and we make atp during light reactions and a high electron carrier. Atp and high energy electron carrier are used to drive the second phase. Energy from light is being converted from chemical energy to form nadph. Fix carbon from atmosphere and convert it into high energy electron carrier such as glucose. Adp and inorganic phosphate and nadp+ are produced. Membranes and soluble compartment called stroma and membrane system called thylakoid(stacks called granum) The thylakoids are membrane sacs(another soluble compartment inside thylakoid)
