Social problems definition: the activities of individuals or groups making assertions of grievances and claims with respect to some putative conditions. Claim: any verbal, visual or behavioral statement to take a condition seriously. Claims-making activities: in combination to persuade an audience (public) Rhetorical idioms: situation condition in moral universe and use common sense notions.
