However critics like them because they were outside the box and experimental. Venus in furs about sadomasochism, came out same year as lucy in the sky. Still has psychedelic vibe but not about flower power and hippie love. Loved by punks who didn"t believe musical talent necessary to start a band. Iggy said to be the man who started crowdsurfing. Against corporate rock but not a punk rocker. Said about heart of gold: this song put me in middle of the road. Travelling there soon became a bore so i headed for the ditch. A rougher ride but i met more interesting people there. Every song he released after heart of gold was to get away from it.
