Presumed by feminists that if a woman was sexual in a video she was pandering for the male gaze. Madonna goes further but at the time people didn"t see this. Portrays her as taking control in the bedroom. Said that it was okay to embrace sex and sexuality. Women are not necessarily doing it for male enjoyment. Madonna at sometimes is portrayed as a boy toy but other times she is the dominant sex. Apart from sex, she also delved into spirituality.
