If they"re not a matter of opinion, it doesn"t necessarily follow that we should be intolerant or uncivil towards those who disagree. Might think that civility is important even if we disagree with them. Are there limits to rational normative argument: there is a role for reason, intuition is also important. Normative arguments proceed by argument and thrashing out of theories. Need to give reasons why preferring one definition to another.
