Document Summary

Training the bell so when it rings it won"t bring any steak: different stimulus (light), when it goes off then it gets steak. Then the dog will salivate a lot when the light goes on. Cs+ = cr: when the bell and light are paired up then we will still get a reaction but not as strong as when it is just the light. Cs + & cs= cr: retardation, bell followed by nothing, then steak on its own cs, the bell becomes a conditioned inhibitor becomes it is paired with the steak us & Cs = ur: then we will do it with the light and pair it with the steak and it salivates us & Cs = ur: the animals react more to the light then compared to the bell, it is because the bell was originally not paired with anything thus not predicting steak.
