Forms of love: compassion or altruism: definition , people helping people and those suffering. If you feel compassion towards someone, that compassion/ feeling is not just limited to that person. When you feel compassion for one that feeling tends to be a feeling for that person but for other people or things as well: ex. Compassion for son or daughter, parents want the very best for them. Because they have compassion for their child, they"re bound to have that feeling for all children. Peace, happiness, good feeling to practice compassion, most people when they do it they aren"t looking for some sort of reward or payback. They do it because it feels good: empathy. Sense of feeling with someone instead of for someone. If you identify with a person, you are more likely to connect with them. Expressed in almost every religion, the idea of the golden rule: the 10 commandments, the buddha"s teachings, unconditional.
