What is appealing about dtc testing: helps you be proactive with your health, susceptibility and risk for certain health conditions/health, discover more about your ancestry. What is the downfall of genetic testing: eugenic testing- eliminate race and certain populations, study human difference which are biological somehow-> connected to evolution. Genes are presented as pre-existing conditions that can only be acted through individual actions.
