CH 2200 Lecture 19: Chinese common phrases and words 11

I want to know this in particular about animals that no longereat what they used to eat. The best example in my opinion arechickens. Chickens are often held to eat all kinds of food we wouldotherwise throw away. Most of this, they would never find innature. Chickens almost eat everything, but there are things theydon't. Also, they often have a clear preference for some food.

How can they differentiate this food? Do they use smell? Looks?How can they know smells of food they never had before?

I think I know the answer, but want to double check here oncramster. Explanation will be appreciated!

Over the long haul we want a good growth rate. At any single point in time, or period like a year, we want a stable economy that achieves the following:

a. We want to produce a level of output consistent to our potential. How do we know if we have achieved this?

b. We want to be at full employment. How do we know if we have achieved this?

c. We want prices to be stable. How do we know if we have achieved this?
