Everything is regulated in ontario except registered psychiatric nurses. Midwives grew the largest since 2005, on average all health care profession are increasing. About 85 pharmacists / 10 000 population. Amongst the g8, canada is 5th in supply of pharmacists. Number of medical grads increased due to more seats. Most females in nursing, audiologists, most males in gp, chiropractor and dentistry. Average age of health occuptations in canada was 42, average age of the workforce is 45. Younger occupations include dental hygienists, occupational and respiratory therapists. Older occupations include physicians (gp and specialists) and dentists. Hospital setting is a key place of work for all professions.
