Lecture 11, the iliad book 4, 5, & 6. Book 3: made a moment of suspense in the form of single combat. Book 4: zeus is bored at a party and decides to make a ght with his wife. He tells her that maybe they should stop the war and make helen go back. Hera is too angry to agree with that. Zeus loves troy, but to honour hera he sends athena to go down and mess with the greeks. Athena makes the greeks break the oath not to ght and the war starts up again. Ares come in on the side of the trojans and destroys the greeks. He gets wounded and goes back to olympus, where he gets roasted by zeus. Menaleus is about to do it, but agamemnon comes in from the greek side and convinces. Menaleus to kill adrestos because the trojans are horrible.
