The only song hermes knows to sing is about his birth. Hermes wants to try flesh, so he goes off to find apollo, by stealing his cattle and walks backwards to cover his tracks. Hermes can pass through boundaries without being detected. Hermes later comes home, pretending to sleep. Apollo tries to find his cattle; he finds the only human who knows what happened the old man.
