A major branch of forensic toxicology deals with the measurement of alcohol in the body for matters that pertain to violations of criminal law. The most widely and heavily abused drug in the western world is alcohol. Therefore, when people drive there are alcohol levels in the blood. Important aspect: how is alcohol absorbed in the bloodstream, how is it transported in the bloodstream and how it is removed from the body. The breath and the urine also sweat as well.
