A) karman line is the line that separates earth"s atmosphere from space (100 km above sea level). It is also the boundary at which earth"s atmosphere is too thin for air navigation. B) first man-made object to breach it was the v2 missile in 1940"s. The v2 rocket were used by the us military to take the 1st photos from space. By attaching a 35 mm camera onto a v2 rocket and setting the camera to snap photos every one and half seconds. The soviets launched the first satellite into earth- orbit & it was called sputnik. The soviets launched the 1st human into space in 1961. Yuri gagarin was placed into a capsule, he had some manual controls but was instructed not to use them. His entire flight was operated from a control centre on earth. The soviets made the first unmanned landings & orbits of the moon with their 3 luna crafts in 1959.
