Schizophrenic disorders: (the most serious mental disorder that we are covering) Schizophrenia = split mind. this is often confused with multiple personality disorder. People feel like they lose control of their minds and thoughts. The individual starts to believe and see things that are really made up. Loose associations (or poverty of speech): you can notice that there is something not quite right with this individual. Someone with this disorder says: there are conflicts that become unresolvable. My mind feels like it is in pieces and total unorganized . There is a lot going on in the person"s mind. The people don"t exist (hallucinations) but he thinks they are real. The voices come and go, but the people are always there : hallucinations and disturbed behaviour: i feel like worms are crawling all over my brain. often have symptoms of depression as well.
