Is an idea/ belief that people believe they look like their dogs (dog study: Halo effect- the common belief (accurate/ not) that attractive people possess a host of positive qualities beyond their physical appearance. Being in relationships can cause more happiness and better health; better than wealth. Attachment bonds among family/ friends/ romantic partners that tie together 2 or more people over an extended amount of time. Relationships lead to physical health: less likely to get sick and live longer, smoking, obesity, low physical activity better. Relationship lead to physical well being (happiness) Compared to unhappy people, the happiest people were highly social and had stronger romantic relationships and other social relationships. If unmet, we will suffer profound negative consequences (like in social confinement people go crazy because no bonds made/ social interaction) If secure, caregiver would respond quickly and reliably to distress cries. If anxious, caregivers we not always reliable (comes intrusive and sometimes rejecting)
