In the case of sabina spielrein (1885-1942), carl jung"s (1875: first psychoanalytic case", whom he treated between 1904 and 1905, she exhibited the following hysterical symptoms as a resident patient (1904-1905) of the burgholzli hospital. Her symptoms included: laughing and crying in a mixed compulsive manner, laughter alternating between weeping, jerking of the head, seductive glances, depressive reaction (see marchese, 2015, p. 79).
