Implies that it should be possible for modular functions to process information effectively even when there is general intellectual decline (e. g. , ad) shallow output. Subtle idea, distinct between 2 types of agnosia. Agnosia - loss of knowledge - so in this context - loss of visual domain. Associative agnosia - they can draw it, but they can"t tell what it is. Output has no meaning other than that assigned to it.
