Sosc1510 the future of work is a general education course that is designed to improve your academic literacy. We want you to learn the content and improve your communication skills. Better communications includes your reading, reasoning, writing and speaking skills. The weekly assignments require all four skills (if we include the discussions in tutorial). You may offer brilliant content but we"ll never know if you don"t communicate well. You probably earned many a"s in high school in order to get to university. But don"t expect to get an a very often at university they are a sign of exceptionally good work, of exemplary scholarship. This is particularly critical when providing definitions - the more you are able to use your own words rather than relying on quotes, the more obvious it is that you understand the concepts.
