Common sense: artifacts are neutral: best objection: the intent in which an artifact was created for may in uence whether the artifact has a good or bad moral purpose. Strong: technological artifacts and humans are hybrid agents : moral agency is distributed over both humans and artifacts. Moderate: attributes moral relevance to artifacts without making them morally responsible or morally accountable for their effects: by developing new tech there are new responsibilities (moral), what you can do depends on what is available to you. Rst order: carry our morally right actions. Second order: make sure that there are some morally good actions to choose. Principle of unnecessary risk: any potentially high risk must be justi ed in being done; ex, two police force bomb squads have the opportunity to use a bomb bot, but it is a choice.
