*plato made it clear that the body does not survive when death occurs, it is insanity to believe that the body can be resurrected is insanity. *people argue personal interactions are the most important thing, so how can there be an afterlife without interpersonal relationships. *socrates talks about the afterlife in physical imagery. *resurrection of the dead christian answer stems off of the resurrection of jesus, but we are talking about those of us who are fully human. There has to be some account of that. The problem behind this theory is the criteria of personal identity: what provides the link.
